Create a Bowl with the Circlematic Form Finder
The Circlematic Form Finder Set includes 24 flexible plastic templates that can be reused over and over again and wiped clean. They are helpful for learning about how conical forms are developed from cutting sections out of circles. You can think of the various parts as building blocks for discovering forms.
In this video, we will be demonstrating how to create a bowl form with the Circlematic Form Finder. Designed by studio potter and teacher, Sandi Pierantozzi, the Circlematic was developed as a way to explore forms through hand building.
