What are Oxide Washes?
Oxide Washes are metallic glaze colorants which are formulated for ease of use and versatility. Oxide washes create subtle color washes, enhance surface texture, and introduce metallic accents or earthy hues. They can be used to highlight features, and create depth and dimension. Build up color and depth by applying multiple thin layers of wash instead of one thick layer.
Use masking techniques like latex, wax resist or masking tape to create sharp lines and defined areas.
