Electrical Specifications for Kilns

The chart above lists the available electrical specification options for this kiln. You must order the kiln with the proper wiring specifications for it to function properly. These specifications are determined by the power supply that you will be connecting the kiln to. Review this information with your electrician to determine the proper Voltage and Phase for your kiln. The choice of V/Ph determines the Amperage draw of the kiln and the size of the breaker needed. A kiln requires a breaker that is 20% above the actual amperage draw. Be sure that you can supply sufficient power for the kiln you choose. The chart also indicates the NEMA plug configuration for the kiln –or- if it must be Direct Wired. Voltage and Phase selection must be confirmed in writing with all kiln orders. If you have any questions concerning this information, please call us at 800-431-6067.

Thank you.
