Quick Release 18" Platter Mold- D

This heavy duty plastic mold is used together with the Quick Release 2 Pc System (C-114-20) to produce domed plaster forms with the contour shown that are keyed to fit the Quick Release Wheelhead attachment. Clay is drawn down over the plaster dome while it spins on the potters wheel. It is like throwing a plate upside down. The rim is created and a foot ring can be thrown completing the plate in one sitting. No further trimming is necessary! This Mold produces a Plaster Form as shown, measuring 18" Dia x 2-3/4" thick.
