2-Pc. Quick Release Set- J

Made of heavy duty plastic, this 2 pc set is the basis for the Quick Release Bat System for use on the potters wheel. The smaller disc attaches to your wheelhead using your bat pins and the larger disc becomes the 2nd part of whatever Quick Release mold you are casting. When casting your plaster bats, the larger disc creates the indented triangular 'key' on the underside of the plaster form. The resulting bat can then be placed onto the smaller disc that is attached to the wheelhead. This key system holds the bats firmly in place while you throw and allows quick easy removal of the bat when you are done. It is necessary to purchase at least one of the flat or domed Quick Release molds to use this set. (The 18" Adapter (C-114-21) is required for any 16" or 18" diameter mold.)
