Clear SP-900

Spectrum's 900 Series Low Stone glazes are formulated to create the look of High Fired Stoneware at Low Fire Temperatures. These unique glazes mature at Cone 06-04 and produce the kind of visually rich colors associated with High Fire Stoneware glazes but with lower firing costs. Especially beautiful effects are achieved by layering Low Stone glazes over each other. All are Dinnerware Safe but they vary with regard to toxicity ratings in the raw state: see ‘Specs' on each glaze for these ratings. Apply to Cone 04 bisque and fire to Cone 05.

Spectrum's 900 Clear can be used on its own or over underglaze decoration. It is specifically formulated to work with the other Low Stone glazes. 900 Clear is AP Non-Toxic and Dinnerware Safe. Apply to Cone 04 bisque and fire to Cone 05.

Please note: do not use the 900 Series glazes on the same piece with Spectrum's 700 Series glazes. Due to significantly different expansion rates this combination can cause pots to crack.
