L&L Vent-Sure Kiln Vent

All kilns should be vented to the outside.

L&L’s VentSure kiln vent system is designed to pull fumes from the firing chamber directly before they can leak into the studio. A small hole is drilled into the floor of the kiln and a Bypass Collection Box is mounted to the underside of your existing kiln stand. Please note: your kiln stand must have a metal plate across the top, as shown at the left, in order to attach the Collection Box. It is possible to attach the Collection Box to the side of the kiln if necessary -or- an appropriate stand can be purchased from L&L separately. The Vent Blower Unit is wall-mounted to keep the motor away from the heat of the kiln. (Blower includes a 8 Ft power cord with On/Off switch and plugs into a regular 120 Volt outlet.) (1) Vent Sure can vent kilns up to 20 Cu Ft. 15 Ft of 3” diameter Flexible Aluminum Duct is provided to connect the kiln to the blower. The exit duct (after the blower) is a 12” pipe with a 90 degree elbow, but can be extended up to 60 Ft long- horizontal or vertical- with up to (4) 90 degree bends. Use 4” straight pipe to extend the exit duct (not included).
