Dyna-Glow Element Holders- an L&L exclusive! - Hard ceramic element holders keep elements in place and protect fragile firebrick during element changes.

Quad Element System- 4 rows of elements in each 9" kiln section. Quad elements are wound with thicker gauge wire and have a lower watt density than L&L's standard elements. With coils measuring almost 1/2" diameter, these heavy-duty elements stand up to the rigorous demands of Cone 10 Crystalline firings.

K-25 Brick- 2-1/2" Walls & Floor and 3" Lid are all constructed with 2500 degree rated firebrick to better withstand firing to Cone 12. 

Dyna-Trol Multi Zone Controller- Easy to program with 4 Preset Programs for standard firings and 6 User Programs for custom firing profiles. With up to 8 Segments, custom programs allow control of heat-up and cool-down, heat soaks, delay start and more. Multi Zone control monitors and adjusts temperature independently in each section of the kiln to keep the chamber firing evenly.

Type S Thermocouples- More accurate and longer lasting at Cone 10 and above than standard Type K thermocouples.

Spring-Assist Hinge- Makes opening the lid easy and supports it securely. The hinge opens beyond 90 degrees for easy access to the chamber while loading and unloading.

Sectional Design w/Plug-in Control Panel- Sections are completely seperate from the Control Panel for easy disassembly when moving or servicing the kiln. Each section has a cord that plugs into a receptacle on the main panel. Once the cords are unplugged, the main control panel can be removed and the kiln sections seperated. (NOTE: The kiln's hinge system must also be removed for disassembly.)
