Vent-A-Kiln Model 1437

All kilns should be vented to the outside.

This is a ‘positive pressure’ hood collection system for electric kilns. This system collects residual heat and fumes rising out of the kiln into an overhead hood and vents them to the outside. Because it captures some of the heat the kiln gives off, it helps keep the studio cooler while keeping the air clean. It can be used alone or in addition to a ‘negative pressure’ or ‘direct’ fume system to help control the larger volume of fumes that can be generated by lusters, china paints, and some wax resists. Hood includes a counterweighted ceiling mount- Swinging Wall Brackets are available for various models. (See items C-137-006, 008 & 015.)

Model 1437 fits round kilns 28" to 33” Exterior Diameter.

This standard Model 1437 has a 265 cfm Motor. A 500 cfm version is also available.
