Spectrum's 1120 Satin Clear is an excellent Zinc Free, AP Non-Toxic, Dinnerware Safe transparent glaze with a satin finish. It is compatible with most commercial underglazes. Satin clear glazes are not as translucent as clear gloss glazes and will tend to mute the appearance of underglaze decoration somewhat. If applied too heavily the glaze will appear cloudy.
