Direct to Outside Exhaust Unit for Soldner Dust Hoods

Should the application and local code allow venting the collected dust to the outside, then this centrifugal high capacity exhaust unit is applicable. This unit does not provide any filtration. The exhaust unit is mounted to the wall on a provided bracket. As a general rule, the exhaust point on the exterior of the facility should never be in the proximity to open windows, air intakes, or near likely high-density gatherings of the public. The discharge should be high enough to eliminate the possibility of exposure to the general public, and abide by the standards set by the Safety Data Sheet regarding permissible exposure levels (PEL). Bailey Pottery Equipment assumes no responsibility for installations that do not meet local or national codes. This is the responsibility of installer.

Only one ventilator unit should be used per mixer. Peak capacity is rated at 1550 cfm (no filtration). Ductwork to the outside is a 5" diameter pipe (not included) and should have minimal bends. Straight runs should be generally less than 30' with a non-restrictive termination. We recommend an elbow style discharge that is rain tight.
