Colored grog can be wedged into soft clay, pressed into the surface or sprinkled & rolled into a slab. Experiment & try adding colored grog to your glaze on sculptural pieces (adding colored grog to glazes is not recommended for functional wares)M Grog is very similar in size to play sand in a sandbox.
