Fruit Punch Grog XL

Enhance your clay with Colored Flecks & Specks Grog! Flecks & Specks Colored grog is made from colored clay that has been fired, crushed & sorted by mesh size. Colored grog can be wedged into soft clay, pressed into the surface or sprinkled & rolled into a slab. Experiment & try adding colored grog to your glaze on sculptural pieces (adding colored grog to glazes is not recommended for functional wares)

Use 10 mesh XL Grog when you want  a surface that is textured (imagine a colorful Shigaraki ware!) Soft clay is recommended for throwing and trimming with XL Grog. This size will catch in your trimming tools, creating unexpected and raw surfaces. Throwing with XL Grog feels like throwing with clay with small rocks. Can be used in handbuilding and wheel throwing.

All Flecks + Specks Grog are food safe when glazed with a food safe glaze.
