Amaco’s Velvet Underglazesoffer two finish possibilities. When left unglazed they have the appearance of velour or velvet. They will intensify in color when covered with a clear gloss glaze. Use for overall coverage, detail work or thin for water color effects. They fire true to color as applied from the jar and may be intermixed to create a palette of hundreds of colors. Velvets can be applied to greenware or bisque and fired as high as Cone 10. Testing is recommended at the higher ranges. 3 Images are shown.
