Laguna's Cone 10 Dry Stoneware Glazes are unique in that the firing atmosphere plays an important role in the development of both the surface and color. Most of Laguna's Cone 10 glazes are intended to be reduction fired to attain their warm colors and smooth, durable surfaces. The sample chips shown were fired in reduction. (All of Laguna's Cone 10 glazes may be fired in Oxidation, but the results will be different than the chips shown and testing is recommended.) All are independently certified Non Toxic and Dinnerware Safe except WC554 which produces a surface that is easily scratched by cutlery and can be stained by acidic foods.
