Spectrum’s 1050 Underglaze Base is a liquid media containing some frit, which acts as a flux resulting in an underglaze that may be applied to either greenware or bisque. It keeps the stains suspended and brushes on smoothly for even coverage. ¼ lb of stain will color 8-16 Oz of liquid base depending on the color and desired intensity. Testing is recommended. The 1050 Base is AP Non-Toxic and Dinnerware Safe when covered with a food safe glaze. It is formulated to use from Cone 06 to Cone 6.
