A short-chain sodium polyelectrolyte used to deflocculate Mid to High Fire Porcelain and Stoneware slips as well as Low-Fire Red casting slips. Darvan 811 has many of the same benefits as Darvan No. 7: Ionger casting range, increased mold life, easy reclaimability and improved viscosity stability. In addition, Darvan 811 also reduces “hard spots”, and eliminates calcium/silica scum for better glaze adhesion. Darvan 811 can also be used in glazes as a deflocculant/dispersing agent to improve working properties during spray application.
