What makes the Bailey PRO such a great wheel?

Best Management of trimmings!
The Bailey PRO Series has a 1-Piece Counter-Pan designed to hold over 6 times more volume than a typical splash pan! This prevents the trimmings from falling all over the floor and getting trampled into dust. This greatly reduces maintenance for studio clean up.

Teachers love the fact that the students can’t make a mess carrying removable splash pans to and from the sink. Everything is quickly cleaned right at the wheel! It’s a much better management system for dust control.

All models include our exclusive “side discharge” panel for fast easy trim removal. Just lift up the panel and push the trims out into a bucket. It’s as easy as that!

The fixed 1-Piece Pan is an excellent rigid surface to brace on when throwing.

The drain area prevents build up of water in the pan when throwing, and is super for a fast efficient clean up. Just finish with a final rinse of the pan. A rigid PVC drain tube is included. Drain buckets are optional.

Bailey PRO-50R
The PRO-50R is the upgrade of our original ST-50 and ST-50R. The new PRO-50R now includes a reversing plug and a drain with drain tube along with the side discharge panel, optional additional counter accessories, large counter pan, whisper quiet motor, and our buttery smooth pedal. The PRO-50R has a 12” wheel head and can center up to 50 lbs. of clay. Now you can get the wheel the professionals are raving about at an economical price. The Bailey PRO-X and PRO-XL Wheels
For potters who prefer a one piece splash pan, Bailey has innovated the Counter Pan. Besides featuring this unique design with a drain tube and side discharge panel, the PRO-X and the PRO-XL both feature the optional Bailey counter systems and inexpensive leg extensions (see accessories listed below).

The Bailey Counter Pan makes the difference. The advantages of our innovative counter pan is that it not only prevents "splash", but unlike any other design, it has a large area to collect trims. This will definitely help you keep the studio or classroom clean. Another benefit is that a large 9" diameter water bucket can fit inside the Bailey pan while a 14" bat is used. Keeping the water bucket in the pan area is another way to keep the wheel area clean. The "back and forth" travel to the water bucket is confined to the pan. The sturdy counter pan is very rigid and comfortable to brace against when throwing. This is something you can’t do with a removable splash pan. The Bailey Counter Pan is also includes a drain tube for easy cleaning and a Removable Side Discharge Panel for trims. It’s fast and convenient.

Want to throw with large scale bats? When you want to use a bat larger than 14”, use the wheel head extension. This will allow you to elevate the wheel head so large scale bats can be used (see accessories below).

The PRO-X will center up to 50 lbs. of clay.
The PRO-XL will center up to 100 lbs. of clay.
