Amaco Stilts
are all-ceramic, including the “points,” making them preferable to metal-point stilts for heavier forms. Ceramic “points” will not bend under extra weight, but they do leave more of a mark on the finished piece. It is best to glaze lightly where the stilt will touch. Dimensions between points are listed below. Rated to Cone 6 maximum.

Amaco Triangles
Amaco Triangles are all-ceramic, triangular rods approximately 3/8” thick. They have no “points” but support along a straight edge. Triangles are best used on pieces that are unglazed on the bottom, due to the amount of surface contact. The length of each rod is indicated below. Rated to Cone 6.

Amaco Pointed
Stilts have three equally spaced, fine quality metal alloy points embedded in a stoneware base. They virtually leave no mark on fired pieces and are easily loosened after firing. Measurements given below represent distance between wire prongs. Sold by the dozen only. Max. recommended temperature: Cone 02.

Roselli Stilts

Roselli Stilts come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes and configurations to prevent glazed ceramic items from touching the kiln shelf during firing. Not only standard 3 & 4 point stilts for cups, vases, etc., but specialty supports for beads, tiles and plates. Test heavy items to determine whether points and wires will support your pieces at your temperature. Maximum temperature on all Roselli Stilts is Cone 6. Please note: wire points & bead rack wires may bend or sag under heavy weight and/or at higher temperatures.  Testing is recommended.

High Temp Wire *
High Temp alloy wire that can be used to fire smaller beads and items that don’t fit on the standard Beadtree Wires. This wire is rated to Cone 5; however, it is very flexible and testing is recommended to determine if it provides sufficient support during firing for your application. Available in 2 gauges -17 and 24- each sold in a 10 Ft roll.

Stacking Tile Holders
Clever design can accommodate any size square or rectangular tile. Corners are keyed to lock into each other when stacked for added stability (manufacturer recommends stacking no more than 6 layers high). Can be fired as high as Cone 6(*). Each corner measures 1-7/8” x 1-7/8” x 7/8” High and can hold tiles up to 1/4 “ thick.

(*) Although these Setters can be fired to Cone 6 you must test your tiles to determine whether they will warp or sag in this style setter. Many clays become ‘pyroplastic’ at high temperatures and require full support underneath in order to remain flat.
