Bailey Baltic Birch Bats

Bailey Wood Bats are made of high grade 3/4 inch thick Baltic Birch plywood which absorbs moisture much like plaster but is more durable and lighter weight. These bats are thicker and more rigid than masonite, medex or plastic. Clay adheres well and moisture is drawn from the foot of the piece as it dries so cutting off with a wire is not always necessary. Do not saturate Wood bats or submerge them in water- this will cause them to warp and delaminate.
