Quick Release 16" Flat Mold

This heavy duty plastic mold is used together with the Quick Release 2 Pc System (C-114-20) to produce flat plaster bats that are keyed to fit the Quick Release Wheelhead attachment. Throw on these bats as you would any wood or plastic bat but with the added benefit that the plaster will pull moisture from the bottom of your form as it dries. This allows the piece to be left on the bat longer before cutting free with a wire. In some cases the piece will release and no wiring is necessary. Drying is more even reducing the chance of warping and cracking. This mold produces a plaster bat measuring 16" Dia. x 1-1/2" thick.

NOTE: Due to its large diameter, this mold requires the use of the 18" Adapter (C-114-21) in addition to the Quick Release 2 Pc System (C-114-20). See 'Related Products' below.
