Slip mixing and reclaiming are primary
functions of the casting industry. A specific type of vortex
action is critical to creating and maintaining properly mixed,
high quality slip. Pouring tables and pumps do not have this type
of mixing capability.
The 30B from
Lehman Mfg. is designed specifically with mixing and reclaiming
in mind. The 30B uses the proper vortex action to produce the highest
quality casting slips. It features a heavy duty polyethylene
tank with a 2” diameter side drain faucet. The wide top opening
and removable plexiglass cover allow easy access to add dry
materials and then closes tight for long term slip storage. Uses a ½ HP direct drive, top mount motor with a stainless
steel shaft and mixing props. An optional steel base is available. Mixing and reclaiming instructions are included.
