Ohaus Series 700 Scales offer
accuracy and ruggedness in studio and lab situations. All Ohaus scales
have three notches and tiered beams with center reading; sliding poises;
and spring-loaded zero adjust compensator and magnetic damping. The 760
Model is the best value for your money and the most versatile scale. The
tare beam attachment allows for counterbalancing various containers placed
on the flat pan. No scoop or counterweight is necessary. The 750S is the
most economical scale but the container must be calculated out of the
reading unless a scoop with counterweight is used.
Model 750S
The most economical triple beam
scale with a stainless steel weigh plate. Container used must be
calculated out of the reading unless a scoop with counterweight is used.
Model 760
Tare Poise
This model is the same as 750S
except it has the addition of a tare poise counterweight, which is used to
compensate for the weight of any container or scoop placed on the weigh
plate. (No calculating for container compensation is necessary).
