Heat Reflective Face Shield and Hood
This GoodView™ Heat Reflective Hood is manufactured using space aged reflective technology. The Hood incorporates the Didymium II Blue PC window. The Window is coated with a mirror like surface of pure 24K Gold to reflect harmful ultraviolet and radiant heat energy away from the user's face, while it also filters out the unwanted sodium yellow spectrum, allowing the user to see much of the red spectrum which is an indicator of temperature. The inside of the lens has an anti-fog coating. The User's face will feel cooler & more comfortable. This unit features a ratchet head gear which is adjustable to any head size and is very comfortable. The Hood protects hair and head from heat and is especially useful for schools and universities where long hair can be exposed to flames from spy holes or raku firings. The window provides excellent visibility compared to a Shade 5 Green lens, while providing enhanced impact, Ultra-violet and Heat protection compared to a glass lens.

Infrared Glasses
It is very important to protect your eyes from heat and infrared radiation. These “wrap-around” glasses will give you complete protection and comfort. They are much more comfortable than welder’s goggles, and have the extra benefit of being much easier to see through. You also get complete 180 degree visibility. The infrared protection is the equivalent of a #2 lens shade. Every potter and ceramic department should not be without this type of eye protection for both gas and electric fired kilns.
