Because the two augers mesh together as they rotate, the clay is
thoroughly blended as it tracks through the barrel. This system is
outstanding for both deairing premixed clay and for recycling. The Twin
auger drive moves clay through the barrel more efficiently than
smaller single auger units. |

Direct
Vertical Plunger
Bailey has designed a unique direct
vertical plunger to drive the clay into the safety hopper. The
plunger is similar to an extruder, pushing more clay into the hopper than
hinge style plungers. Inside the hopper is a permanent stainless steel
safety grid that prevents hands from ever reaching the auger blades.
Equally important, the safety systems do not inhibit the pugging process.
