The MSV Advantage
The new Bailey MSV single
auger clay mixer pugmills offer distinct and exciting advantages over other
single auger mixer/pugmills.
Advantage 1
Different from other clay mixer pugmills,
the Bailey has stainless
steel shredding screens which filter the clay of lumps,
foreign objects, and other unwanted objects. Your clay is always clean and
pure. The shredding screens are easily accessed with the removal of 4
bolts.
Advantage 2
Different from other clay mixer pugmills,
the vacuum chamber thoroughly vacuums the shredded clay just as it
has passed through the screens. This is a superior
vacuum system as it insures the vacuum
effect is concentrated on every shred of clay with no area ever missed.
Advantage 3
Different from other clay mixer pugmills,
the Bailey MSV allows you to use just the pug
function of the barrel without having to fill the entire mix
chamber. You can quickly and conveniently drop in smaller amounts of clay
for pugging and still have it auto feed through the deairing section of
the pugmill.
Advantage 4
Different from other clay mixer pugmills,
the optional tile nozzle, the MSV-55T and MSV-80T
can also extrude tiles up to 8" wide
and the MSV-130T can produce tile shapes up
to 12" side. Because we have an extended pug barrel,
the clay has better
compression and particle orientation for extruded shapes. |

Series Single Auger
Clay Mixer Pugmills
Overview: You
can recycle all your scrap (in any condition of dry, semi dry or wet) and have it ready use in no time. No mess and
no hassle. No need to slake your scrap ever
again.
|

Use the MSV
as a self feeding pugmill without the
need of a plunger bar. Just lift the safety
lid, throw in your prepared clay and close the lid for a final blend before using. The blades will stop when you
lift the safety lid. Unlike other
single-auger clay pugmills, the Bailey MSV doesnt require filling
the entire barrel in order to pug
efficiently. Just throw in smaller amounts and away you go! |

MS-25
(non-deairing mixer)
The Bailey MS-25 table top mixer is ideal for schools and
studios where you want to manage small amounts of reclaim on a
daily basis. It can do any style of mixing from powder, to
reclaiming hard chunks, or softening stiff clay. In just minutes
you can process your mixing/reclaiming needs and have the 25 lbs.
batch self empty. Even without deairing, it does a most impressive job eliminated the
majority of the air pockets in the pugged out shape so final
wedging is relatively easy. Best of all, you can convert your
MS-25 into a MSV-25T at a later date with our adaptor kit. What
could be better?

MSV-25T
Mixer/Pugmill/Extruder
The MSV-25T table top is a
perfect small studio mixer, pugmill, and extruder. When used a dedicated
pugmill, all you do is lift the lid, drop in the clay, and effortlessly
close the lid. The clay will automatically feed through the
machine without needing to fill the barrel. This is very different
from a standard pugmill which requires much more effort to pull
down on a handle/plunger and continuously feed the clay. The
output is remarkable! You can pug up to 850 lbs. an hour.
Unlike other mixer/pugmills, the
Bailey MSV deson't require vacuuming the entire mix chamber which taxes the pump
and takes longer to properly deair the clay. The clay is
beautifully deaired immediately as it passes through our
dedicated vacuum chamber. The clay is perfection!
When used as a mixer function, the
MSV-25T is great for quickly recycling of accumulating scrap or
for mixing small test batches of clay from scratch. Mixing
capacity is 25 lbs. per batch. It's fast and simple.
MS-25
and MSV25T Table (optional)
The MSV optional mobile table offers the perfect work center to
process your clay. The table is super solid, easy to roll.
includes braking casters, and has a full stainless steel counter
at the front. You can save space in the studio by rolling
your MSV out of the way. The bottom shelf is great for
storage and houses your vacuum pump.

With the addition of the tile
nozzle, you extrude all sorts of horizontal shapes. We will soon be
releasing our vertical upward tube nozzle. This allows you to
extrude a tube directly upward. Forms are easy to remove and
manipulate! Bailey is always innovating so you can be more
creative.

MSV-55T
The MSV-55T is a perfect small to medium size studio model.
The MSV-55T is great for quickly recycling that accumulating
scrap or for mixing small test batches of clay from scratch.

Non-Deairing Clay Mixer
MS-130
MS-130 is a self-emptying clay mixer with a special nozzle to
shape the extruded pug. This is a non-deairing unit which
is very practical for schools where students do their own
wedging or potteries that already have a pugmill. The
MS-130 is fabulous for recycling of scrap. It is easy to
clean, fast and efficient. The capacity of the barrel is
130 lbs per batch. |
