The Soldner patented design foot
pedal is the smoothest and most sensitive foot pedal made. The cost of
this transformer drive system is roughly three times that of a typical SCR
electronic controller — but the difference is obvious in even a casual
comparison between the two.

P Series
The Soldner “P” Series features a professional size frame, permanent
magnet motor and a removable wheelhead, 1” shaft, 2 roller bearings and
a heavy-duty V-belt/pulley drive. The table top is 3/4” marine plywood
with tough, polyurethane finish. Adjustable legs vary wheelhead height
from 22” to 28”. On/off, forward/reverse switch, 2 pin head system,
plus the finest speed controller ever developed for the potter’s wheel.

S Series
Soldner’s “S” Series is a
studio size wheel with a solid cast aluminum superstructure and a 3/4”
marine plywood top finished with polyurethane. It features a permanent
magnet motor, removable wheelhead, 1” shaft, 2 roller bearings, on/off,
forward/reverse switch, 2 pin head system, plus the finest speed
controller ever developed for the potter’s wheel. The legs adjust the
wheelhead height from approximately 19” to 25” and are detached for
shipping. The “S” Series can be used with a Brent Splash Pan.

wheel manufacturers are taken at the wheelhead and reflect torque
added by the wheel drive system. Soldner’s ratings are the exact
measurement of the motor itself. (Example: a 1/4 HP motor may
develop 1/2 HP at the wheelhead). Be sure to check the “centering
