It
all starts with the extra insulation.
Every Bailey VP3 has a full 3" thick wall of
insulative brick in the walls, floor and lid as a standard.
This adds a full 20% of extra insulation which reduces

VP-3 kilns are designed to consume the
least amount of energy so you get inexpensive firings,
extended element life, and less wear on the electronics and the
frame. We all need to think about using less energy
to protect the environment.
More stacking space. Did
you know that most manufacturers
using 3” brick (as an upgrade) actually reduce
the interior diameter by 1 inch! That means
you lose almost 10% of your stacking space! that there
is little room for your fingers when lowering and raising shelves. Bailey
adds the extra thickness of insulative brick
to the exterior dimension of the kiln. Your interior
space stays the same. You save energy, but don’t lose stacking
space.
