	From Spectrum Glazes of Canada we present an outstanding selection of Low Fire lead-free glazes especially useful for classroom situations. The colors are brilliant, varied and offer an excellent value. Apply to Cone 04/03 Bisque; Glaze Fire to Cone 06-04 (best results if you bisque one cone hotter than your glaze fire). We have had excellent response to these glazes from our customers.

(1) Dinnerware safe. Contains no lead or cadmium ingredients. Certified AP Non-Toxic and conforms to ASTM D-4236

(2) Dinnerware safe. Contains some heavy metals and/or cadmium compounds but passes test for lead and cadmium release.

(3) Contains no lead or cadmium ingredients. May invite bacterial growth due to glaze fissures. Not recommended for surfaces which contact food or drink. Certified AP Non-Toxic.

(5) Dinnerware safe. Contains no lead. Contains encapsulated cadmium pigment. Certified AP Non-Toxic and conforms to ASTM D-4236.

A: A.P. nontoxic: refer to Raw Materials Advisory for definition. Bailey recommends glazes marked “(1)A” as most suitable for use with young children.

Ø K-6: These glazes carry an ACMI CL "Cautions Required" label. Although they may be Lead-Free, they are not AP Non-Toxic due to other material content and are restricted from school use with children from Pre-K thru Grade 6.

Warning none of these products should be taken internally; all contain ingredients not suitable for ingestion or inhalation.

OPAQUE TEXTURE GLAZES
Spectrum #s 271-278 are very stiff and matte and can be made even rougher by applying the final coat with a sponge. The rough, dry surface is not suitable for dinnerware, but offers many unique decorating possibilities.
