jars, and are prepared by homogenizing to the correct consistency
for easy brushing. Only stirring is necessary before application.
For spraying and dipping, glazes may be thinned with water.
Amaco

jars suitable for storage after mixing. Since they already contain
the appropriate amount of gum and suspenders, only water need be
added. One pound yields approximately one pint. Sieving is

Cone 5
AMACO® Celebration Glazes are a beautiful group of bright and pastel
colors for stoneware that are as colorful as earthenware glazes.
These glazes are opaque and can be applied over AMACO® 65M, 48M, 27M, 77M
and 58M clays. Bisque fire the clay to Cone 04, then glaze and fire to
maturing temperature at Cone 5. The final surface appearance will change
depending on the clay body on which they are applied.
These glazes are great when used in contrasting colors, next to or on top
of each other. Furthermore, excellent results have been achieved when used
over the Sahara (HF) or Potter'sChoice (PC) series glazes. Therefore,
don't restrict yourself to the 18 colors in this series. Experiment with
them in different combinations and increase your choice of color and
texture. These glazes are great to produce colorful utilitarian ware.
(1) Contains
no lead or cadmium bearing ingredients. Dinnerware Safe when
fired to the recommended firing temperature.
Ø K-6:
These glazes carry an ACMI CL "Cautions Required"
label. Although they may be Lead-Free, they are
not AP Non-Toxic due to other material content and are
restricted from school use with children from Pre-K thru Grade 6.
* Glazes
marked with an asterisk may be used for safe spray application.
